WHEN: Sunday, June 5, 2005, beginning at 3:00 P.M.
WHERE: Meander Inn B&B on Rt. 612, just off Rt. 151, 2 miles north of Nellysford.
Guest Speaker: Carrie Whitehead, Executive Director of the Virginia Conservation Network.
Additional Discussion: Plans for 2005, including
- promoting a water study for all of Nelson County
- expanding to include the Tye/Piney Rivers’ watersheds
- stream monitoring
- river cleanup.
The Picnic is free to FORW members and those joining FORW at the meeting.
